the Dad's view from everyday in the life of a two year old son. This blog hopes to show the good and bad times as a parent but also show that parents need to find time for themselves to still have a life outside of being a parent. Kids come first but for our sanity we have to keep our hobbies and spend time with our friends.

Day 47 - David is Sick Dad Stays Home
Today David had a fever so I stayed home with him. He did not show any ill effects from the fever and I had my hands full with him playing all day. He wanted to play baseball and hit his golf ball around. I had a meeting that I had to dial into but David was still awake so I have to just listen and could only talk once or twice. After lunch the fever took hold and all David wanted was to be held. I put him down for a nap and he slept about an hour before waking up with hives. So lucky dad gets a trip to the doctor with all kinds of kids running around. The hives were just a symptom of the fever and nothing more. I was really tired by the time mom got home.
