the Dad's view from everyday in the life of a two year old son. This blog hopes to show the good and bad times as a parent but also show that parents need to find time for themselves to still have a life outside of being a parent. Kids come first but for our sanity we have to keep our hobbies and spend time with our friends.

Day 51 - Ryder Cup and Pumpkin Patch
This morning after playing a little and watching the Ryder Cup we all went to the local pumpkin patch. We met our best friends and their three year old son there and the kids had a great time seeing all the animals and ridding on the tractors. David saw a scary clown but just saw it as a clown and wanted to go up for a closer look but since we were always away we were able to distract him. after picking out a couple of pumpkins we decided to go to Buffalo wild wings for lunch and since mom was driving I enjoyed a fine beer. once lunch was over and it was well into nap time we headed to our friends house to hang out while the kids napped. As luck would having David would not go down for his nap. So we played a little bit and headed to the store. When David see the Kroger he knows they have doughnuts so that is what he repeated over and over. Back at home mom and I made junk food for dinner and to watch the Penn State game. It was not a very good game for Penn State fans. Penn State lost to Iowa.
